These cane toppers are needle felted from 100% wool. This makes them the perfect eco friendly gift for the keen gardener.
They are biodegradable and they do their job perfectly by protecting you from injury when using canes in the garden. If you accidentally bump your face on one of these it will be a soft experience.
You may be thinking why not just use small terracotta pots or ends of plastic bottles? These are good and will do the job just fine, I also used to use these on my own garden canes. However accidents do happen and as much as the terracotta pot stopped the cane from poking into my eye, it didn’t stop the unsightly bruise (black eye) that appeared a day later. This is the main reason i decided to design and make these from wool I also wanted a more eco friendly alternative to the plastic cap ones you can readily buy online and in garden centres.
These are also great for supporting the netting that is put over canes to protect your crops, stopping the netting slipping down the canes.
You will receive a set of 3 toppers and you can choose grey or cream colour.
The hole I create at the bottom will fit most standard canes however you can make the hole larger by inserting scissors and snipping carefully to make the hole larger.
